Training Site
Quinnipiac University EMS is an established American Heart Association Training Site. Housed under the Yale New Haven Health Center for EMS Training Center, the Quinnipiac University Training Site (QU-TS) offers a suite of courses to choose from. Taught by our experienced instructors, students can register for classes ranging from Stop the Bleed and Heartsaver CPR/AED to Basic Life Support and advanced courses. The QU-TS is a proud partner of the Quinnipiac School of Nursing delivering its courses with equipment funded by a community education grant.

Our Courses:
Heartsaver CPR/AED
This course is ideal for Quinnipiac students, faculty, staff, and community members who want to be equipped with life-saving skills without a medical background.
Note: This course is not for Healthcare providers. Healthcare providers should see our “BLS” course.
Basic Life Support (BLS) Blended Learning
The Heartcode BLS course is designed for healthcare professionals and students in health-related fields who require certification or recertification in basic life support. This course is offered in the blended learning format known as “Heartcode BLS”.
Stop the Bleed
The "Stop the Bleed" course is designed for anyone on campus—students, faculty, staff, and community members—who want to be prepared to respond to life-threatening bleeding.
